Solemn Man at Battery Park WWII Monument He struck me as an old man haunted by his past. Certainly he nestled into the somber memorial as an intrinsic part of the visual composition. This "grab shot" from 25 years ago is near the site of the Twin Towers, and I am now approaching his age.
